The Story of Two Bridges
Lazaris
There are two bridges that you can cross. One is called the Bridge of Faith, and the other is called the Bridge of Belief.
The Bridge of Faith is long and flat. It goes on for what must seem like forever. As you stand at the beginning of the Bridge of Faith. It's like looking down a railroad track in Kansas. It goes on forever until the parallel tracks appear to meet. With the railroad tracks, however, you know they don't really meet. The Bridge of Faith looks the same way except that eventually the two sides do meet, because the Bridge of Faith goes on to the end of time or more precisely, it goes on until it is beyond time. Time and space are illusions that together comprise the fourth dimension of your illusory reality. In outer space, when time and space collapse, when they end, you call it a black hole. This is where all time, all space, all light collapse.
The Bridge of Faith also collapses into a single point in time/space and disappears. There is no end to the Bridge of Faith.
Those involved in traditional spirituality are crossing the Bridge of Faith. To Eastern faiths, the bridge is the one they cross between the many lives of karma. For them the traffic is two-way and seldom ending. To the Jewish faith the Bridge of Faith is the bridge from pain to the Promised Land, from being lost to being found, from being without their Kind to finding the Messiah. To some of the Christian faith, the Bridge of Faith is shortit only goes from here to the Second Coming, which could be any day now. And for others it is forever!
The other bridge is called the Bridge of Belief. It is quite different. It is arched very steeply, though it is easy to cross if you know how. The arch is so steep that you cannot see over the crest of the arch until you get there. Once you do get there, it is rumored that you can see clearly all that lies on the other side. No one who has not crossed the Bridge of Belief, however, can substantiate this claim of clarity. No one can say whether the rumored claims are true or not. Those who have crossed it say it is true, but no one can prove it. They cannot prove it because what they claimed to have experienced was beyond words, and what they saw was slightly different for each of them. There is no chance for empiricism there. There is no proof!
There is also something very strange about the Bridge of Belief. Once someone begins crossing, it can be an ordeal where one has to be a warrior attempting to conquer obstacles along the way. However, the crossing also can be an adventure filled with wonder and with exciting encounters. The difference seems to be in the preparation and the desire, the imagination, and the expectancy.
Something else: When someone is crossing, everyone else can watch just like with the Bridge of Faith. However, when they reach that crest over which no one can see, they have a choice: Go on or go back. If they choose to go on, they also disappear out of view. Very strange, this Bridge of Belief.
Those who know what the New Spiritualitythe New Ageis really about, are the ones involved with the Bridge of Belief. You see, those of you crossing the Bridge of Belief and those crossing the Bridge of Faith are really looking for the same thing. You are all looking for God/Goddess/All That is; by whatever name you use.
What lies beyond the Bridge of Belief? You will have to cross the bridge to fully see, but let us tell you this. Beyond the Bridge of Belief lie Atlantis and Lemuria. Beyond the Bridge of Belief is where you will find your higher Self and your Soul. Beyond the Bridge of Belief is the God/Goddess/All That is.
Nothing that lies beyond this bridge can ever be empirically scientifically proved. If it could be, it would no longer exist? Beyond the Bridge of Belief! Once you get to the crest, and not before, you will see what we mean. It is beyond words in its wonder, because language is linear and the reality beyond is nonlinear.

Once you reach the crest, and not before, you will change. You will step out of one set of reality constraints, and you will step into another freer, more powerful and more responsible set. Your world will never be the same again. There is no need for fear. You do not have to abandon anything you have already had, but it will never quite be the same once you cross the Bridge.
Cross the bridge? You are ready?
With love and peace. Lazaris
