The Flora Fairy

A face so innocent and sweet
I ne'er before had chanced to meet,
As there upon a leaf doth stand
With dew drops in her tiny hand
To wash the petals of a rose
And tend to how my garden grows,
Sweet Flora, Keeper of the Flowers.
I could gaze at you for hours,
Watching as you gently sup
The nectar of a buttercup.
