| Dolores is one of the best known and most respected of contemporary British occultists. She is the successor to W.E. Butler, and present Director of Studies for Servants of the Light. A third generation psychic sensitive and highly trained Cosmic Mediator, Dolores' teachers and mentors were the late C.C. Chichester, a Warden of the Society of the Inner Light and W.E. Butler, himself a student of Dion Fortune. Dolores travels extensively all over the world, keeping in touch with Supervisors and students of the SOL. She has the ability to communicate with insight, knowledge and the passion of conviction in her chosen field. This, combined with her down-to-earth sense of humor has made her a welcome visitor to many countries. Dolores lectures year round on a wide variety of topics, and is the major contributor to Solomon, the in-house publication of the SOL. Some of her published works are: First Steps in Ritual, Inner Highways, Daughters of Eve, and New Book of the Dead. As an Associate of the London Academy of Music and Drama, Dolores is a qualified and gifted drama teacher, and was a professional actress for many years on the London stage. She lent these particular talents to the creation of the Shakespeare Tarot, an exploration of the traditional tarot archetypes expressed through the plays and characters of Shakespeare's works. In addition to voice and acting, she fenced for her native Jersey in the Untied Kingdom championships when young, and explored the worlds of dance and movement. These talents combined with over three decades of experience in the occult and hermetic sciences equals an unparalleled educational opportunity with Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki. |
