A Healing for
Mild Depression

This treatment for mild depression is not a substitute for psychological or psychiatric treatment! It is a useful adjunct for treating mild depression.

Many people suffer from depression on a frequent basis. Most of us will experience mild depression often enough to welcome a safe and inexpensive method to treat it. If this treatment does not help, seek help.

Sit on a comfortable chair and loosen any tight clothing. Pray to the Goddess for Her help in this healing. Ask Her to guide and watch over you. Lean back and relax. Feel the comfort of relaxing. Let all the sadness and tension leave you as all your cares and worries just drift away.

Take a deep breath and hold it. Slowly release it and feel all your worries leave you. Repeat this two more times. Feel the comfort as you relax deeper and deeper, knowing the Goddess is watching over and comforting you.

About one inch above the eyes and one inch behind the forehead is the pineal gland (or body). Concentrating on it is a form of meditation. Raise your eyes. In your mind, focus them on a spot on your forehead. Fix your concentration one-inch behind that spot, on the pineal gland. Focus your eyes as well as you can. Raise them and try to focus them on the gland.

Do this meditation for five minutes. (If five minutes does not work, try ten.) It should bring a feeling of calm. Depression should lessen. You should feel a slight but definite surge of energy.

Repeat this three to five times a day. After several days, there should be an improvement. If not, seek professional help.

This technique can also be used as a source of well being or to ward off depression before it occurs.
