In the passing of a second
Life, death, rebirth
A thought, a change, a memory
Bestowed upon Mother Earth.
Mystery turned to knowledge
In the blinking of an eye
To seek, to find, to rejoice
A pause, a tear, a sigh.
Change unto the seasons
Blessed and surreal
As life to death, and death to life
Spokes of the eternal wheel.
Bounty left to harvest
Seedling to be grown
Circle then completed
Knowledge to bestow.
Eternal flame, forever bright
Carried well within
Venture the untrodden path
To end is to begin.
