The Earth By Fred Drager The way I look at you, I see that earth is more than a heavenly body. It is a body of love and of death that you poses within yourself for all to see, and all to know through their lives. The way that some of us treat you and don't care and think that we can do what ever we want to do to your body, even try to destroy it? The more I think of you as my mother and my lover, and that I'm your consort, that it is meant to be for both of us to be together to live and to love one another through time? The more I see you around me, the more I see you and smell you and breathe your breath of air—the one you have given life with, and in the end death to follow, and rebirth (for this is the way of the mother goddess)? Blessed be —Fred Drager |
