This is an affirmation ritual for pagan gay folks who have had problems accepting their homosexuality due to the outrageous lies they have learned from fundamentalist Christians and cruel members of our society. It is to release gay and lesbian folks from the bondage of erroneous past beliefs of damnation and hellfire (commonly referred to old tapes in modern psychology) and transform them into happy, productive members of society.
I myself was hypnotized by the Fundamentalists and society and led a life of misery and heartbreak to the point I was completely depleted of energy and any desire to live. I even attempted suicide on numerous occasions. I tried converting to heterosexuality with no success. Then the Dear Goddess, Mother of All, channeled this prayer to me. The magick was so powerful it broke the spell of darkness that bound me. Now, I am a very happy, well-adjusted member of society and there is no kind of positive magick I can do which refuses to manifest. My innermost desires quickly manifest everyday! There is great power in this ritual.
So, stop trying to change yourself, which is like hacking in the wind, all you gays and lesbians; follow the advice of the Goddess. Accept yourselves for what you are, and watch your life unfold like a beautiful rosebud does in the spring.
Directions
Pick a place where you are completely removed from noise and other people, including the family pets (cats and dogs are nice to have but can be distracting in an unintentional sort of way), take the phone off the hook, and hang that do not disturb sign on your door. It is best to perform this ritual with candles (especially pink) and your favorite incense, but is still effective otherwise. It is your consciousness that ultimately unlocks and dissolves the old tapes of false beliefs and offers a clear channel for any spell or ritual you desire to replace the void.
Say the affirmations once in the morning and once in the evening right before you retire. Doing this on a daily basis insures you that the negative past belief has no grounds to reenter and re-manifest. Doing it in the evening allows the subconscious mind to continue processing it while you sleep; and doing it in the morning draws it into your conscious mind in the daytime as you work or play. The chant sections of the ritual should be repeated verbally or silently often throughout the day when you have alone time.
Ritual
Light candles and incense and sit or stand in a comfortable position. Look into the candles and keep focused on them and say:
I have a Goddess who loves me more than I shall ever fathom. I love Her too, but I could never love Her more than She loves me, for She knows unconditional love, and that is how She loves me. Also, my Goddess does not hold me in contempt for being gay, for She knows that being gay is part of me like the parts of my body. She knows I cannot change my gayness; besides, all I have to do is accept myself today (including everything I am made of, today) and to love myself everyday.
I allow Her to bring into my life only positive companions who are gay-supportive, who love me for me. What a wonderful Goddess I serve. She blessed me with life, and I am forever grateful She created me! Her message to me is to erase any false belief that I am condemned or will be punished for things I cannot help. So therefore I chant:
It's okay to be gay
It's okay to be gay
It's okay to be gay
I love myself
It's okay to be gay
It's okay to be gay
It's okay to be gay
I accept myself
It's okay to be gay
It's okay to be gay
It's okay to be gay
Throughout eternity
And So Mote It Be!
Once you get the hang of this chant and feel it's tremendous power flooding your soul, change It's okay to be gay to It's wonderful to be gay instead. But not until you transform.
