Humanity: The Next Step

Lazaris

From your perspective, how is humanity doing in this period of growth and enlightenment,
of raising our consciousness, of heading home?

Overall humanity is doing wonderfully well. One has to look really at two levels: There is the consensus humanity, which, of course, would be—for lack of a better definition—all the peoples of the world, which exponentially comprise humanity.

Please allow a slight digression: Society is the arithmetic combination of people—numbers, megasociety, in that particular regard—whereas humanity is not arithmetic, but rather exponential. There's an energy that is more than just people. There is something that is due to the togetherness of those people—due not just to the quantity of them, but to the quality of them. Therefore, the consensus humanity, that exponential energy that is all people, is moving along in its very lumbering and encumbering way, which is to be expected.

Within that consensus humanity there is a sliver of reality, there is a little light beam, a laser-like beam of light that comprises those who are enlightened—or becoming enlightened (more clearly put). That light is made up of those that are interested in the New Age, those that are interested in expanding consciousness, those that are interested in finding solutions to solutionless problems.

The light is made up of those who are looking to figure out the Rubik's Cube of reality that you're currently in—not giving up on it and throwing up their hands and saying, There must be no solution." Rather, they know that: There are solutions. We just haven't been willing to dream them yet. We just haven't found the proper perspective. We haven't found the proper questions to ask. But there are solutions.

That sliver of people, that sliver of humanity that is involved in the New Age is doing incredibly well. They're moving forward quite nicely despite all the encumbrances, despite the fears, despite the doubts and angers that have been thrown in the path, unfortunately, by some of those people who claim to lead them.

Overall people are becoming much more discerning and much more willing to grow, much more legitimate in their growth. That wedge is growing. That sliver of light is becoming wider and wider as more and more people from all walks of life are opening themselves up not to the crazy sort of fanciful parts of this metaphysical community, but to the sincerity and earnestness of what metaphysics, of what spirituality, of what a relationship with God—as we call it God/Goddess/All That Is—can actually lead to. Therefore, both that particular ray of energy within humanity and all of humanity-at-large are moving forward.

We have often said that human beings are so incredibly beautiful. You have been taught that you are somewhat the barnacles, somewhat at the bottom of the pile, that somehow all these extraterrestrials that people claim are there are coming around to help you because you are so unable to do it for yourselves. You have been taught that you're falling so far behind that if you don't catch up you're going to have a devastating impact upon the whole cosmos. All these kinds of guilt-producing messages are given forth.

We suggest, quite to the contrary, that many of those so-called extraterrestrials that are here observing you are not observing you to teach you. They're observing to learn from you, because there's something rather incredible about you and your planet Earth. You and it are filled with a tremendous urge to be spiritual. You are filled with a tremendous seeking of God/Goddess/All That Is or whatever name you call the Source. A tremendous seeking in that way is common to and is unique to your planet. Also, your Earth has an incredible capacity to love, even despite your fighting and your warring and your perpetual violence. Underneath it there is a tremendous passion and compassion to love. Within the United States there is an incredible capacity. The American people are perhaps the fastest to forgive of any peoples in the world. Injustices and wrongdoings have been done, but your nation, above all, forgives and goes back to loving quicker than any place else. In your nation, more than in any other part of the world, we would dare say, there is such a tremendous urge to grow, a tremendous urge to find the answers, a tremendous urge to seek and find that God, or that God/Goddess/All That Is, or that Source of life and reality.

Many have thought of Tibet and the Himalayan Mountains as the source or the seed of spirituality, and indeed it was. But we suggest that has shifted. It's in the Western World, and in the Western World most specifically the United States, where that seed of power, that source of spiritual urging, is located.

Yes, humanity is moving forward incredibly well and will succeed in creating the successful reality that many of the doomsdayers have dismissed as being impossible.

For those of us involved in the New Age or, as you call it, the New Spirituality, what should we be doing now?

It is going to be very important for those of you involved, truly, in the spiritual search, who are involved in this metaphysical/spiritual world, to stretch and to reach and to look for the positive, and to look for the opportunities of success. For you will become the pioneers. You will become, as we call them, the Mapmakers. You will be the ones that the rest of the world will lean upon, will look to for guidance and for understanding. When your world of objectivity becomes subjective, when your world of subjectivity becomes objective, when indeed what seems to be up becomes down, and back and forth (not in a polar shift, as some have suggested, but in a change of consciousness), there will be many who will turn to you. Don't look back and say, I told you so. Reach out with love, reach out with understanding, reach out with the compassion and the passion that you have for life and for the wonders that that life can hold.

This is the grandest time of all to be alive, for this is the beginning of that New Age in a bigger, more profound way than it has ever begun for any individual in the past. Therefore, you are witness to a time in history that has never been and a time in history that will never be again.

You are not only witness to it, but also you are a part of it. As we like to say, reach and stretch and allow yourself to be the brightest light that you can be, for the whole world is watching to see what you do. The whole world is waiting for you to love.
