The Faery Prince
By Diana Haronis
As the moon stands full in the still of the night,
He manifests in radiant light.
The Faery Prince in cloaks of gold,
A wondrous image to behold.
His auburn curls dance free
About his gentle face, I see.
And eyes so deep and dark as coal,
Do piece into my very soul.
His graceful form incites my lust.
His gentle smile gives me trust.
I dare not move, but only stare,
In wonder at him standing there!
He reaches forth to take my hand,
And as together there we stand,
Our souls do merge in magic trance,
Our bodies join in sweet romance.
The stars in Heaven seem to say,
It must have always been this way.
And time stands still as we commune
Beneath the halo of the moon.
